Miruthan
''Miruthan'' () is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action horror film written and directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, starring Ravi Mohan (credited as Jayam Ravi), Lakshmi Menon, Anikha Surendran and Kaali Venkat. D. Imman composed the music, while Venkatesh S. handled the cinematography. Shot in Ooty and Coimbatore within 54 days, the film derives its title from a hybrid of two words, ''Mirugam'' meaning animal and ''Manithan'' meaning man. The film depicts a zombie apocalypse in the state of Tamil Nadu that starts after a poisonous liquid spills from a container outside a chemical laboratory in Ooty. Shakti Soundar Rajan
Shakti Soundar Rajan is an Indian film director who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. He is known for directing science fiction films that introduce new concepts to Tamil cinema. Lakshmi Menon (born 19 May 1996) is an Indian actress who mainly appears in Tamil films. After making her acting debut in a supporting role in the Malayalam film '' Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya'' (2011). She made her first main female lead with her Tamil debut film '' Sundara Pandian'' in 2012. She is a recipient of a Filmfare Award South, one Tamil Nadu State Film Award and two SIIMA Awards. Ravi Mohan (born 10 September 1980), better known by his former stage name Jayam Ravi, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. The son of veteran film editor A. Kaali Venkat (born 16 November 1982) is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Tamil language films in supporting roles. Personal life Venkat hails from Kudaiyadevanpatti a village near Kovilpatti.
