Mirsad Bešlija
Mirsad Bešlija (born 6 July 1979) is a Bosnian former professional footballer who played as a right winger. He has most notably played for Željezničar, Genk, Heart of Midlothian and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Club career Bešlija started his career with hometown club Slaven Živinice. Although he was among the youngest players in their squad, he became an important part of the first team. He was spotted there and signed by Bosna Visoko, a first division team at that time, in 1997. He spent two seasons in Visoko, during which he won both the Bosnian Cup and Supercup. His rapid footballing ascent attracted the interest of Željezničar and he signed for them in 2000, becoming a fan favorite during his single season in the capital. The Mirsad-1 (Arabic: مرصاد, English: "Observation post"), known in Iran as the Ababil-T, is a designation for a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used for reconnaissance purposes by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah in the 2000s, where it entered Israel on two occasions, in 2004 and 2005. The Mirsad-1 is not a Hezbollah-designed UAV. Instead, it is a name given by Hezbollah to existing Iranian UAVs provided to the group, namely the twin-tail Ababil drones. Before 2006, Hezbollah acquired up to eight such drones from Iran. Reports state that up to 30 Hezbollah personnel also received training on operating the Mirsad at the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' bases near Isfahan, Iran. Mirsad Türkcan (born Mirsad Jahović, sr-cyr, Мирсад Јаховић; on June 7, 1976) is a Turkish former professional basketball player of Bosniak origin. Standing at a height of , he played at the power forward position. A three-time All-EuroLeague Team member, he is also the fifth best rebounder in the EuroLeague, since the year 2000, with 1,287 total rebounds. Born in Novi Pazar, SR Serbia, he moved to play basketball in Turkey. At the same time, he also obtained Turkish citizenship, and started playing international basketball with the senior Turkey national team. Mirsad Jonuz (; born 9 April 1962) is a Macedonian football coach and former goalkeeper. Playing career Born in Sveti Nikole, SR Macedonia, SFR Yugoslavia, as a player Jonuz was member of numerous Yugoslav clubs. He made his senior debut in 1985 with FK Teteks, playing then in the Yugoslav Second League. After that season he played with FK Bregalnica Štip and FK Borec before joining Belgrade side FK Rad where he made his debut in the Yugoslav First League in the 1988–89 season. Mirsad Huseinovic (born November 26, 1968) is a U.S. soccer player. He spent one season in the American Professional Soccer League and one game Major League Soccer. He also earned one cap with the U.S. national team. Youth and college Huseinovic moved to the United States from Montenegro with his family when he was five. His family settled in Brooklyn where he learned to play soccer from his father. He attended New Utrecht High School, graduating in 1987. Mirsad Fazlagić (born 4 April 1943) is a Bosnian retired professional football player and manager. He played as a full-back. Club career Fazlagić started his football career in the youth setup of his local hometown team Čapljina in 1957. As a talented seventeen year old, he was acquired by Yugoslav First League side FK Željezničar, where he also made his debut in the top tier of Yugoslav football. After one season with the blues he made a switch to bitter city rivals FK Sarajevo in the summer of 1960. Mirsad Baljić (born 4 March 1962) is a Bosnian former professional footballer who played as an offensive left-back. He got his nickname ''Žvaka'' (chewing gum) for his constant use of chewing gum during matches. Club career Baljić made his first football steps in hometown club Sarajevo's youth team before temporarily leaving football because of medical problems.
