Mirleft ( Amazigh: ⵎⵉⵔⵍⴼⵜ) is a small town and rural commune in Sidi Ifni Province of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region of Morocco. At the time of the 2004 census, the commune had a total population of 7026 people living in 1303 households. Description Mirleft is perched on top of the gigantic ocher-colored cliffs bordering the ocean. The view of the Atlantic coast is magnificent, especially from Fort Tidli. List Of Municipalities, Communes, And Arrondissements Of Morocco
This is a list of municipalities (urban or rural communes), and arrondissements of Morocco, based on the 2004 census. In 2009 a new administrative division of Morocco was adopted, creating 13 new provinces: Berrechid, Driouch, Fquih Ben Salah, Guercif, Midelt, Ouezzane, Rehamna, Sidi Bennour, Sidi Ifni, Sidi Slimane, Tarfaya, Tinghir and Youssoufia. Sidi Ifni Province
Sidi Ifni is a province in the Moroccan region of Guelmim-Oued Noun. It was created in 2009 from the southern part of Tiznit Province, and recorded a population of 115,691 in the 2014 Moroccan census The 2014 Moroccan census was held in Morocco between 1 September and 20 September 2014. The census was conducted by the High Planning Commission. Until 1969, most of its territory was the Provincia de Ifni, with its capital in Sidi Ifni, dependent on Spain. Argan Oil
Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree ('' Argania spinosa'' L.), which is indigenous to Morocco. In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in at breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. It is also used for cosmetic purposes. Properties 99% of argan oil consists of triglycerides and related derivatives. These are derived from the following fatty acids: Argan oil has a relative density at ranging from 0.906 to 0.919. Argan oil also contains traces of tocopherols (vitamin E), phenols, carotenes, squalene. Some trace phenols in argan oil include caffeic acid, oleuropein, vanillic acid, tyrosol, catechol, resorcinol, (−)-epicatechin and (+)-catechin. Depending on the extraction method, argan oil may be more resistant to oxidation than olive oil. Fishing
Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Fish are often caught as wildlife from the natural environment, but may also be caught from stocked bodies of water such as ponds, canals, park wetlands and reservoirs. Bodyboarding
Bodyboarding is a water sport in which the surfer rides a bodyboard on the crest, face, and curl of a wave which is carrying the surfer towards the shore. Bodyboarding is also referred to as ''Boogieboarding'' due to the invention of the "Boogie Board" by Tom Morey in 1971. The average bodyboard consists of a short, rectangular piece of hydrodynamic foam. Bodyboarders typically use swim fins for additional propulsion and control while riding a breaking wave. Origin Bodyboarding originates from an ancient form of riding waves (surfing) on one's belly. Indigenous Polynesians rode "''alaia''" (pronounced ah-lie-ah) boards either on their belly, knees, or feet (in rare instances). Regions Of Morocco
Regions are currently the highest administrative divisions in Morocco. Since 2015, Morocco officially administers 12 regions, including one ( Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab) that lies completely within the disputed territory of Western Sahara and two ( Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra and Guelmim-Oued Noun) that lie partially within it. The regions are subdivided into a total of 75 second-level administrative divisions, which are prefectures and provinces. A region is governed by a directly elected regional council.
