Mircea Crișan
Mircea Crișan (8 August 1924 – 22 November 2013) was considered to be one of the greatest Romanian comedians and comedic actors. Biography He was born in the Maramureș region of northern Romania to a German jewish father and Romanian mother, as Mauriciu Kraus. He traveled as a child with his parents in their circus. From 1944 to 1946 he studied Dramatic Art at the State Drama School in Bucharest, in the class of Maria Filotti. In the 1950s and 1960s, Crișan played in several Romanian comedies and the theater. He was known as a star of the former Eastern Bloc and even performed privately for Nikita Khrushchev. In 1964 he was awarded the title of "Artist Emerit" of the Romanian People's Republic. He took advantage of his second stint in the Music Hall Olympia in Paris in order to settle in 1968 in West Germany. ("Crime Scene") is a German-language police procedural television series that has been running continuously since 1970 with 30 feature-length episodes per year, making it the longest-running German TV drama. Rudi Carrell (born Rudolf Wijbrand Kesselaar; 19 December 1934 – 7 July 2006) was a Dutch entertainer. Along with famous entertainers such as Johannes Heesters and Linda de Mol, he was one of the most successful Dutch personalities active in Germany. He worked as a television entertainer and hosted his own show; the ''Rudi Carrell Show'' ran first in the Netherlands, and then for many years in Germany. The Störtebeker Festival () is an yearly open-air theatre festival in Germany. It is based on stories around the medieval German privateer Klaus Störtebeker and his Victual Brothers, who later turned to pirates.
