Victor De Riqueti, Marquis De Mirabeau
Victor de Riqueti, Marquis de Mirabeau (; 5 October 171513 July 1789) was a French economist of the Physiocratic school. He was the father of Honoré Gabriel Riqueti, comte de Mirabeau, Honoré, Comte de Mirabeau and André Boniface Louis Riqueti de Mirabeau. He was, in distinction, often referred to as the elder Mirabeau as he had a younger brother, :fr:Jean-Antoine Riqueti de Mirabeau, Jean-Antoine Riqueti de Mirabeau (17171794). Biography Mirabeau was born in Pertuis. He was brought up very sternly by his father, and in 1728 joined the army. Mirabeau () is a rapid transit station on Paris Métro Line 10, Line 10 of the Paris Métro system. Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, 16th arrondissement of the city, it is served solely by eastbound trains to Gare d'Austerlitz (Paris Métro), Gare d'Austerlitz. It is located in close proximity to Église d'Auteuil (Paris Métro), Église d'Auteuil (with their accesses are less than 100 m apart), and as such, the two stations can be considered twins, with ''Mirabeau'' serving eastbound traffic and ''Église d'Auteuil'' serving westbound traffic, albeit with separate entrances and exits. Mirebeau (; ; Poitevin: ''Mirebea'') is a commune in the Vienne department, in the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, western France. History Fulk Nerra (970–1040), Count of Anjou conquered Mirebeau and built a castle there. His son, Geoffrey of Anjou, defeated William VI, Duke of Aquitaine and Count of Poitou at the battle of Moncontour on September 20, 1033, and from that date Mirebeau belonged to the county of Anjou until 1790, and the replacement of the old provinces by departements during the French Revolution. Seán Kinsella
Seán Kinsella (1931 – 20 May 2013) was an Irish restaurateur, regarded as Ireland's first celebrity chef, who owned and operated the Mirabeau restaurant in Sandycove, Dublin, during the 1970s and 1980s. Biography Kinsella was born in 1931 in Cooraclare, County Clare, but moved to Dublin as a child, and grew up on Clonliffe Road in north Dublin. He left school early, and by age 14 was working in the kitchens of Dublin's Gresham Hotel. He later worked in Jammets, a leading Dublin restaurant, and from 1953 to 1972 worked as executive chef on P&O Cruises vessels, mainly the SS Oronsay. In 1972 he met his wife Audrey in New York.
