The Ministry of States and Frontier Regions , ''wazarat-e- reyasti o sarhadi umoor'' (abbreviated as SAFRON) was a Government of Pakistan, federal ministry in Pakistan. The main responsibilities of the ministry were the administrative affairs and development activities in the tribal areas of Pakistan, including Frontier Regions, Frontier Regions of Pakistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). It has been merged into the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan as of 2025. Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees In 1980, the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees was established in Islamabad under SAFRON. Cadet College Razmak
Cadet College Razmak is a military high school, located in the valley of Razmak, in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It was previously part of Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). History The college was founded by the late prime minister of Pakistan, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, in the late 1970s during his visit to Miranshah, North Waziristan agency. Abdul Qadeer Baloch (), better known as Mama Qadeer (), is a human rights activist from the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Life In 2013, Qadeer traveled more than 2,000 kilometers from Balochistan to Islamabad along with other Baloch men and women to protest against the issue of Baloch missing persons.
