Minik Dahl Høegh
Minik Dahl Høegh (born 4 May 1985) is a Greenlandic handballer, currently playing for Amo Handboll and the Greenlandic national team. Minik started playing handball at the age of 17. In 2008 he signed a contract with Danish side GOG. At the 2012 Pan American Men's Handball Championship and 2016 Pan American Men's Handball Championship Minik Dahl Høegh became topscorer and was selected for the all-star team. Nuuk
Nuuk (; , formerly ) is the capital and most populous city of Greenland, an autonomous territory in the Kingdom of Denmark. Nuuk is the seat of government and the territory's largest cultural and economic center. It is also the seat of government for the Sermersooq municipality. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. Julie Ivalo Broberg Berthelsen also known by her mononym Julie (born 7 June 1979) is a Danish-born Greenlandic pop singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known largely for her success on the TV series ''Popstars''. Although she finished in second place, she has become more popular and successful than the first-place winner. She grew up in Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Julie has given a variety of performances, the most noteworthy of which was at Christiansborg Palace, in front of the Danish Royal family for the wedding of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary in May 2004. The 2016 Pan American Men's Handball Championship was the 17th official competition for senior men's national handball teams of North, Center, Caribbean and South America. Amo Handboll are a professional handball team based in Alstermo, Sweden. They are the handball department of the sports club Alstermo IF.
