Mineola High School is a public high school located in Mineola, Texas in southern Wood County, Texas, Wood County and classified as a 3A school by the University Interscholastic League, UIL. It is a part of the Mineola Independent School District and serves the city of Mineola and portions of unincorporated Wood County. Notable alumni include retired Admiral Bobby Ray Inman, Bobby Inman and country music singer Kacey Musgraves. In 2015, the school was rated "Texas Education Agency accountability ratings system, Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. History Until 1901, all students in Mineola attended school in a two-story brick building in "Block C" of the city. Noble Henry Willingham, Jr. (August 31, 1931 – January 17, 2004) was an American actor who appeared in more than thirty films and in many television shows, including a stint opposite Chuck Norris in ''Walker, Texas Ranger''. The was a professional basketball league in Japan that began in November 2005 as a six-team league. The league was operated as a competitor to the established Japan Super League which was run by the Japan Basketball Association, the official governing body of basketball in Japan. Mack Tuck (born February 21, 1975) is a retired American basketball player and current coach born in Mineola, Texas. Adam Ross Moore (born May 8, 1984) is an American former professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians and Tampa Bay Rays.
