Miloslav Navrátil
Miloslav Navrátil (born 25 February 1958) is a Czech professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Navrátil won the 2007 PDC World East European Qualifying Event beating fellow countryman Petr Tous in the final. It earned him a place in the 2008 PDC World Darts Championship. He defeated Filipino Rizal Barellano 5-0 in the preliminary round and faced Andy Jenkins in the first round, eventually losing 3-2. He earned £4,000 for his efforts, but since then he has only managed to earn £325 over nine tournaments. Milevsko
Milevsko (; ) is a town in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,000 inhabitants. Karel Gott (14 July 1939 – 1 October 2019) was a Czech singer, considered the most successful male singer in Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. He was voted the country's best male singer in the annual ''Český slavík'' (''Czech Nightingale'') national music award 42 times, most recently in 2017. The 2006 Winmau World Masters was a darts tournament held at Leisure World in Bridlington between October 13-15, 2006. It also featured a qualifying event for the 2007 Lakeside World Professional Championship. Seventeen-year-old Michael van Gerwen became the youngest winner in the 32-year history of the event when he defeated England captain Martin Adams in the final. The 2008 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was the 15th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place between 17 December 2007 and 1 January 2008 at the Alexandra Palace, London, England. John Part won his third World Championship, beating the qualifier Kirk Shepherd 7–2 in the final. Andy Jenkins
Andrew Jenkins (born 11 March 1971) is an English former professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He was nicknamed "Rocky" due to his rough personality. Jenkins has reached high rankings in the PDC, but has never won a major tournament. In 2009, Jenkins was given a PDC ban for almost two years for an assault on Terry Jenkins during a non-televised PDC tournament. In 2025, Jenkins was banned from DRA regulated events for eleven years after being found guilty of match-fixing. Career BDO Jenkins began his career playing in British Darts Organisation competitions and had some success in the open events. 2009 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2009 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was the 16th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at Alexandra Palace in London from 19 December 2008 and 4 January 2009. John Part was the defending champion, having won the PDC World Championship for the second time in the previous year's final against Kirk Shepherd. However, he was eliminated by Bill Davis on the opening night. Shepherd's poor form in 2008 continued, as he was also eliminated in the first round, by Dutchman Jan van der Rassel. Eventually, the title was won by Phil Taylor, with a 7–1 victory in the final over Raymond van Barneveld.
