Laura Huertas Millán (b. 1983) is a French artist and filmmaker. Her works have been presented in various cinema festivals, including the IFFR, FIDMarseille, Cinéma du Réel, Berlinale (Forum Expanded), and Locarno Film Festival. Widely shown in the contemporary art world, her artworks are part of public and private collections in Europe and the Americas. Biography Laura Huertas Millán was born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1983. She moved to Paris for college where she earned a PhD in Ethnographic Fictions in 2017. Since then, she has produced work in the genre of ethnofiction, a method which blends anthropological evidence with elements of creative storytelling. Her work deals with themes of imperialism, the post-colonial Other, and objectivation of non-Western bodies. Thus far, Millán has created a total of seven films. Nicolás Ignacio Millán Carrasco (born 17 November 1991) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a forward. He is best known for being the youngest player to represent a Chilean team in professional football. His substitute appearance for Chilean club Colo Colo against Santiago Wanderers at the age of fourteen years, nine months and three days smashed the previous record of Frank Lobos considerably. Félix Bernardo Millán Martínez (born August 21, 1943) is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball second baseman, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets. He holds one of the best at-bat to strike out ratios in modern baseball history, having struck out once every twenty three at bats. Baseball career Millán, nicknamed "the Cat" ("El Gatito" in Spanish), born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, made his major league debut on June 2, 1966, with the Atlanta Braves, and played for Atlanta until 1973. Alejandro Millán Montoya (born July 10, 1980, Monterrey, Mexico) is the singer, keyboardist, and composer for the band Hello Madness. After winning a music production contest by CONARTE, he released the album "Light and Life After Dusk". He founded the progressive band Elfonía in 2002, releasing the albums ''Elfonía'' and ''This Sonic Landscape''. Millán started playing piano and keyboards for Stream of Passion in 2004, releasing the studio album '' Embrace the Storm'' and the live CD/DVD '' Live in the Real World''. He quit the group in 2007. Joseph Brown (August 1, 1920 – April 3, 2009), known professionally as Victor Millan, was an American actor, academic and former dean of the theatre arts department at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California. Early life Brown was born on August 1, 1920 in East Los Angeles to Mexican parents who had emigrated to the United States during the Mexican Revolution. His mother was a seamstress from Durango.
