Adia Millett Little is a contemporary American multi-media artist whose work can be found in various forums throughout the United States and abroad. Through multiple mediums, including dioramas, quilting, painting, Cross-stitch, stitching, woodworking, and multi-media works, Millett creates her art to discover transitions and tell stories. Biography Millett was born in 1975 in Pasadena, California. She was raised by her mother in South Central Los Angeles. Her mother first studied art, but later studied chemistry and earned a doctoral degree in psychology. Her father was the famous stage, film and television actor and painter, Cleavon Little. Patricia Ann Millett (; born September 1963) is an American lawyer and jurist serving as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. She formerly headed the Supreme Court practice at the law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. Millett also was a longtime former assistant to the United States Solicitor General and served as an occasional blogger for SCOTUSblog. At the time of her confirmation to the D.C. Circuit, she had argued 32 cases before the United States Supreme Court—once the record for a female lawyer. Millett Hall () is a basketball arena in Oxford, Ohio. It is home to the Miami University men's and women's basketball, and women's volleyball teams. It is also the home of the ROTC program and various university events. It is named after Miami University's 16th President John D. Millett. The original construction cost was approximately $7.5 million. It is located on the northern part of Miami's campus, near Yager Stadium (Miami University), Yager Stadium. The arena opened its doors on December 2, 1968, against Adolph Rupp's Kentucky Wildcats. A crowd of 9,135 saw the Wildcats win 86–77. Terron Millett (born June 28, 1968) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2003, holding the IBF light welterweight title from 1999 to 2000. As an amateur, he was a National Golden Gloves champion. Amateur career Millett was the 1991 National Golden Gloves Light welterweight champion. Professional career Millett made his professional debut in 1993, defeating Louis Saucedo. He won the IBF light welterweight title on February 20, 1999, upsetting Vince Phillips via fifth-round technical knockout (TKO) at Madison Square Garden. He was stripped of his belt due to an injury preventing him from defending the title. He would get another shot at the title against Zab Judah but was stopped in the fourth round. He would also face future hall of famer Arturo Gatti, losing via stoppage. Peter Joseph Millett (born 23 January 1955) is a British diplomat who was ambassador to Libya 2015–2018. Early life Peter Millett attended the independent school St Joseph's College, Ipswich, St. Joseph’s College in Ipswich. Career Peter Millett joined the Foreign Office in 1974 and had early postings in Quito and Caracas. In 1980 he studied Arabic and then worked in Doha. On return to London he bridged to the Fast Stream and worked in the Private Office of the Foreign Office Minister in the House of Lords. He then worked at the UK Representation to the European Union specialising in energy and nuclear issues. Back in London, he worked on personnel policy followed by 4 years as Deputy Head of Mission in Athens. On return to London, he worked as Director for Security.
