Miller is a residential neighbourhood located in northeast Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by 153 Avenue to the north, 50 Street to the west, and Manning Drive to the southeast. Demographics In the City of Edmonton's 2012 municipal census, Miller had a population of living in dwellings, a 9.9% change from its 2009 population of . Residential development According to the 2001 federal census, substantially all residential development in Miller occurred after 1996. Casselman, Edmonton
Casselman is a residential neighbourhood located in north east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is named after a lawyer who practiced in Edmonton during the early part of the 20th century. While one in ten (10.7%) of residences in Casselman were built before 1971, according to the 2001 federal most residential development in the neighbourhood were built during the 1970s. It was between 1971 and 1980 that three out of every five (57.9%) of all residences were constructed. Another one in four (23.2%) were built between 1981 and 1990. In implementation of the Gorman Community Concept Plan, subdivision and development of the neighbourhood will be guided by a future neighbourhood structure plan (NSP) to be adopted by Edmonton City Council. A 2.9 km light rail transit extension to this neighbourhood is planned but with no timeline or funding. It is located within Pilot Sound and was originally planned to be developed with community commercial and light industrial park uses within the Pilot Sound Area Structure Plan (ASP). Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton
Commonwealth Stadium is an open-air, multipurpose stadium located in the McCauley neighbourhood of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It has a seating capacity of 56,302, making it the largest open-air stadium in Canada. Primarily used for Canadian football, it also hosts athletics, soccer, rugby union and concerts. Northlands Coliseum
Northlands Coliseum is a now-unused indoor arena located in Edmonton, Alberta, situated on the north side of Northlands. It was used for sports events and concerts, and was home to the Edmonton Oilers of the World Hockey Association (WHA) and National Hockey League (NHL), and the Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The arena opened in 1974, and was later known as Edmonton Coliseum, Skyreach Centre, and Rexall Place, before returning to the Northlands Coliseum name in summer 2016. The arena hosted the 1981 and 1984 Canada Cup hockey tournaments, the 1978 Commonwealth Games, seven Stanley Cup finals (Oilers losses in 1983 and 2006, and Oilers victories in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988, and 1990), many other hockey events, along with other sporting events and major concerts.
