Mileta Radojković
Mileta Radojković, Prince of Jagodina, Grand Count of Rasina (c. 1778 – 26 September 1852) was a participant in the First Serbian Uprising and Second Serbian Uprising, and was the first and most important prince of the Jagodina Nahija and held the title of ''Serdar Rasinski''. He was also an honorary member of the Society of Serbian Letters. Biography Radojković's father brought him to Donji Katun as a child where he would grow up. Radojković's ancestors immigrated to Đunis from Kosovo. He was appointed prince of the Jagodina nahija at an assembly held on 19 December 1815, and he remained in this position until 1830. During this period, he was also a member of the Kragujevac General People's Court and the Belgrade People's Court. When, in October 1823, Prince Miloš Obrenović founded the most important court in the country—the "Municipal Court" in Kragujevac. Mileta Radojković was appointed one of the members of this court. Serdar (Ottoman Rank)
Serdar (; from " Sardar") was a military rank in the Ottoman Empire and a noble rank in Montenegro and Serbia. Serdars often served on the borders of the Ottoman Empire. The term is often translated as 'commander' in English texts and originally comes from the Persian language. The title Serdar was also used in the Principality of Montenegro and the Principality of Serbia as an honorary non-noble title below that of '' vojvoda.'' Stari Grad, Belgrade
Stari Grad ( sr-Cyrl, Стари Град, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. It encompasses some of the oldest sections of urban Belgrade, thus the name (‘’stari grad’’, Serbian for “old city”). Stari Grad is one of the three municipalities that occupy the very center of Belgrade, together with Savski Venac and Vračar. History Even though some of the oldest sections of Belgrade belong to Stari Grad, the municipality itself is among the latest urban ones formed administratively. It was formed by the merger of the municipality of Skadarlija and part of the municipality of Terazije on January 1, 1957.
