Milan Blagojević (basketball)
Milan Blagojević ( sr-cyr, Милан Благојевић; born 27 July 1929) is a Serbian former basketball player. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Playing career Blagojević played for Belgrade-based teams Partizan and Crvena zvezda of the Yugoslav First League. During his stint with Crvena zvezda he won two Yugoslav Championships. National team career Blagojević was a member of the Yugoslavia national team that participated at the 1954 FIBA World Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Over three tournament games, he averaged 4.7 points per game. Yugoslav First Basketball League
The First Federal Basketball League () was the highest tier level men's professional club basketball competition in the former country of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFR Yugoslavia. Founded in 1945, and folded in 1992 (1991–92 YUBA League, 1991–92 Winer Broker YUBA League), it was run by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia. With a total of 16 European-wide trophy winners and 11 finalists, the Yugoslav First Basketball League was one of the strongest European national domestic basketball leagues of all time. Yugoslavia National Basketball Team
The Yugoslavia men's national basketball team ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=" / ", Košarkaška reprezentacija Jugoslavije, Кошаркашка репрезентација Југославије; ; ) represented the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1943 until 1992 in international basketball, and was controlled by the Basketball Federation of Yugoslavia. The 1954 FIBA Basketball World Cup, FIBA World Championship (also called the 2nd World Basketball Championship – 1954) was the international basketball world championship for men's national teams.
