Miladin Popović ( sr-cyr, Миладин Поповић; 23 September 1910 – 13 March 1945) was a Yugoslav Partisan and secretary of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (OK KPJ) of Kosmet (Kosovo). He was one of the organizers of the partisan fighting in Kosovo. He was posthumously given the Hero of Yugoslavia award. Life An active communist in Kosovo, he was arrested on 18 July 1941 near Rožaje, and sent to a concentration camp near Peqin in Albania. He managed to escape with the support of the Albanian communists a few months later. He and Dušan Mugoša were the Yugoslav delegates that in 1941 helped the Albanian communist groups unite and create the Communist Party of Albania. Miladin "Dado" Pršo (born 5 November 1974) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Pršo played for seven different teams and made over 300 league appearances as a professional. He was included in the Monaco team that reached the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final, and part of the Rangers team that won the League and Cup double in 2005. Pršo received 32 caps for Croatia and was part of the squad at UEFA Euro 2004 and 2006 FIFA World Cup. He retired in June 2007 from the Scottish Premier League club Rangers. Miladin Šobić (, born 7 January 1956) is a Montenegrin poet, singer and songwriter. He was an active performer during the late 1970s and early 1980s in SFR Yugoslavia where his prominence had a regional character with popularity across Yugoslavia. His music is dominated by the sound of acoustic guitar, and has predominantly love and melancholic themes. Biography He was born on 7 January 1956, in Nikšić where he graduated from high school. In high school, he had started writing lyrics and composing songs. After finishing high school, he moved to Dubrovnik in order to pursue studies at the College of Tourism. While he was a college student, he created some of his best known songs. Miladin Zarić (1889–1976) was a Serbian and later, Yugoslavian teacher. At the end of World War II and liberation of Belgrade, the capital of Yugoslavia on 20 October 1944, during their retreat, the Nazis have mined the Old Sava Bridge, in order to stop the progress of the Soviet Red Army and the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia that were chasing them. They would have got away with it if there was not Miladin Zarić, a school teacher and a plain civilian with a considerable experience in demining gained previously during Balkan Wars and First World War. He saved the bridge from demolition, by cutting the detonator wires, making it the only large bridge in Europe, beside Ludendorff Bridge that the Germans didn't succeed in demolishing while retreating.
