Mikhail Nikolayevich Kuznetsov (russian: Михаил Николаевич Кузнецов; born 14 May 1985) is a Russian slalom canoeist who has competed since the early 2000s in the C2 class together with his partner Dmitry Larionov. He won a bronze medal in the C2 event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Mikhail Vasilyevich Kuznetsov (russian: Михаи́л Васи́льевич Кузнецо́в; – 15 December 1989) was a regimental commander flying ace in the Soviet Air Forces during the Second World War who was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. After the war he became a general-major. Early life Kuznetsov was born on to a Russian family in Agarino village, located within the present-day borders of the Moscow oblast. Having moved to the city of Moscow in 1921, he went on to complete his seventh grade of school in 1930, after which he worked as an electrician at a tannery until 1932. From then until he entering the military in mid 1933 he worked for the Komsomol of Kirovsky district of the city, serving as deputy chairman of a bureau of young pioneers, secretary of a university Komsomol committee, and secretary of a factory Komsomol committee. Mikhail Vladimirovich Kuznetsov (russian: Михаил Владимирович Кузнецов; born 6 July 1988) is a Russian pair skater. With Ekaterina Sheremetieva, he is the 2007 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist. With later partner Tatiana Novik, he placed fourth at the 2010 World Junior Championships and took bronze at the 2010 International Cup of Nice. Career Kuznetsov teamed up with Ekaterina Sheremetieva in 2003. Sheremetieva broke her foot in 2006 and, as a result, the pair missed most of the 2006–2007 season. Although they placed third on the day, Sheremetieva/Kuznetsov were later awarded the silver medal from the 2007–08 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final following the retroactive disqualification of Vera Bazarova / Yuri Larionov due to a positive doping sample from Larionov.
