Mike I. Richardson
Michael Isaiah Richardson (born February 18, 1984) is an American former professional American football, football cornerback. He was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL draft. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts. He played college football at Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, Notre Dame. Early life Richardson attended Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia and was a letterman in football and track. In football, he was a two-time All-League pick. College career After graduating from high school, Richardson attended the University of Notre Dame. After redshirting his freshman season in 2002, Richardson played in all 13 games in 2003, mainly on special teams, seeing time at cornerback in three games. He started five games in 2004 at cornerback, recording one interception and forcing three fumbles. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured.
