Mikail Yüksel
Mikail Yüksel (born 10 September 1982 in Kulu, Turkey) is a Swedish and Turkish politician in Sweden. He is the founder and leader of the minority friendly Nuance Party, which focuses on Sweden's Muslim population. Political career Yüksel was formerly a member of the Centre Party but was expelled in 2018 after being in touch with the ultra-nationalist Turkish organization Gray Wolves. In 2019, he founded the Nuance Party, a party which claims to represent minorities in Sweden. Nuance Party
The Nuance Party () is an Islamist and Muslim minority rights party in Sweden, founded in 2019. The party has been criticized due to defending former ISIS members. History The Nuance Party was founded in August 2019 by Mikail Yüksel, a Turkish-born politician expelled from the Centre Party for alleged links to the Turkish ultranationalist group the Grey Wolves. In his founding statement, he said that Islamophobia should be a criminal offence and that Sweden's Muslims should have a constitutional definition as a minority. The party was officially launched in September 2019 and registered with Sweden's Election Authority on 31 October 2019 to contest the 2022 Swedish general election, as well as the 2024 European Parliament election in Sweden.
