Mikael Rothstein
Mikael Rothstein (born 8 May 1961) is an associate professor of religious history at the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has authored several books on the topic of religion and new religious movements. Early life and education Rothstein was born 8 May 1961 in Denmark. Lars Hedegaard
Lars Hedegaard Jensen (born 19 September 1942) is a Danish author, historian, editor, journalist and critic of Islam. He established the International Free Press Society in 2009, an extension of the Danish Free Press Society founded in 2004, of which he served as chairman until 2014. Hedegaard was the target of an assassination attempt in 2013, after which he has lived under police protection. Career Hedegaard was born in Horsens. He received a Candidate of Philosophy#Denmark, cand.phil. degree in history from Aarhus University in 1971, and a cand.mag. in English from the University of Copenhagen in 1973. DR P1
DR P1 – in Denmark normally referred to as simply P1 – is a Danish radio station operated by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. P1 has evolved into a pure voice channel with a focus on news, documentaries, political debates, education, general cultural, scientific and social programming. Since 1 November 2011 P1 has had to share its nationwide FM frequency with P2 since DR lost the rights to continue the use of the fourth nationwide FM channel which P2 had been using. P1 broadcasts on the FM channel during daytime. Both channels continued as two separate channels digitally on DAB and online. History The station was established in 1925 with the start of operations of Statsradiofonien. In 1959 Statsradiofonien changed its name to Danmarks Radio, and to DR in 1996. Olav Hammer (born 1958) is a Swedish professor emeritus at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense working in the field of history of religion. Career Hammer has written four books in Swedish and one monograph, ''Claiming Knowledge: Strategies of Epistemology from Theosophy to the New Age'' (2001), and one co-authored book, ''Religious Innovation in the Hellenistic and Roman Periods'' (with Mikael Rothstein, 2023) in English.
