Mihai Răzvan Teja (born 22 September 1978) is a Romanian professional football manager currently in charge of Liga I club Metaloglobus București. Club career After Teja finished his youth years at Steaua București and was starting to be integrated into the first team squad, he was diagnosed with Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome, a heart disorder that did not allow him to play professional sports, thus he had to put and end to his playing career without making a single appearance. Coaching career Teja decided to finish his studies and got a master's degree and a doctorate at the National University of Physical Education and Sport. While at college, he returned to football and joined Dinamo București, where he became youth coach at the club's academy. While there, he met Walter Zenga, who recommended him to Coverciano, where he got degrees as a football manager and a fitness coach. ''Il Centro Tecnico Federale di Coverciano'', is the central training ground and technical headquarters of the Italian Football Federation, located in the Coverciano ''quartiere'' of Florence, Italy. History The Center was founded by Luigi Ridolfi Vay da Verrazzano and Dante Berretti and designed by architects Francesco Tiezzi and Arnaldo Innocenti. Walter Zenga (; born 28 April 1960) is an Italian professional football manager and former player, currently club manager at Serie C club Siracusa. He is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of his generation, and one of Italy's best keepers ever. He was a long-time goalkeeper for Inter Milan and the Italy national team. Wolff–Parkinson–White Syndrome
Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome (WPWS) is a disorder due to a specific type of problem with the electrical system of the heart involving an accessory pathway able to conduct electrical current between the atria and the ventricles, thus bypassing the atrioventricular node. About 60% of people with the electrical problem develop symptoms, which may include an abnormally fast heartbeat, palpitations, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, or syncope. Rarely, cardiac arrest may occur. The most common type of arrhythmia (abnormal heart rate) associated with WPWS is paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.
