Mickaël Meira
Mickaël Meira (born 25 January 1994) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Meira was born in Ajaccio, France to a Portuguese father, and emigrated to Portugal at the age of 9. He started playing football in the latter country with Grupo Recreativo Amigos da Paz, finishing his development at Sporting CP after signing in 2009. On 16 December 2013, Meira made his professional debut with the latter club's B team, appearing in a 2–0 home win against S.C. Braga B in the Segunda Liga. The following 31 August he signed with AEL Limassol from Cyprus, showing resentment towards his former employer for treatment he received in a farewell message. In the following transfer window, he returned to Portugal and joined Atlético Clube de Portugal, going on to spend one and a half seasons in the second tier with the team. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07 football season. The 2019–20 Liga II (also known as 2019–20 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 80th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 3 August 2019 and ended on 2 August 2020. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the fourth Liga II season with a single series. The season was initially scheduled to be played in a round-robin tournament. The first two teams would be promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed team would play a play-off match against the 12th-placed team from Liga I. The Moldovan Liga, officially known as Liga 7777.md for sponsorship reasons, is an association football league that is the top division of Football in Moldova, Moldovan football league system.
