Mickaël Hanany
Mickaël Hanany (born 25 March 1983, in Vitry-sur-Seine) is a French high jumper. His biggest success to date is winning the bronze medal at the 2012 European Championships in Helsinki. Hanany was an All-American jumper for SMU Mustangs track and field team, finishing 4th in the high jump at the 2004 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He finished seventh at the 2002 World Junior Championships. He also competed at the 2002 European Indoor Championships, the 2005 World Championships and the 2006 European Championships without reaching the final round. Vitry-sur-Seine
Vitry-sur-Seine () is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France, from the centre of Paris. Name Vitry-sur-Seine was originally called simply Vitry. The name Vitry comes from Medieval Latin ''Vitriacum'', and before that ''Victoriacum'', meaning "estate of Victorius", a Gallo-Roman landowner. Grosseto () is a city and a ''comune'' in the central Italian region of Tuscany, the capital of the province of Grosseto and the main city of the Maremma region. The athletics competition at the 2005 Mediterranean Games was held in the Mediterraneo Stadium in Almería, Spain from 29 June to 2 July 2005. France topped the medal tally with 10 golds and 30 medals overall, with host nation Italy coming in second with 9 golds and 26 medals overall. A total of 47 events were contested, with 24 contested by male athletes and 23 contested by female athletes. The 3000 metres steeplechase and 1500 metres wheelchair (males only), and the 800 metres wheelchair (females only) were the only events that were not held for both genders.
