Michal Moravčík
Michal Moravčík (born 7 December 1994) is a Czech professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing under contract with HC Sparta Praha of the Czech Extraliga (ELH). Playing career Moravčík made his debut playing in Czech Extraliga with HC Plzeň during the 2012–13 Czech Extraliga season. In the 2017–18 season, Moravčík played in 52 games on the blueline for Plzeň, notching personal highs with 5 goals and 16 points and a plus-minus +25 rating. In the post-season he added three goals and 4 assists in 10 playoff games. On 28 May 2018, Moravčík signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). After attending the Canadiens training camp, Moravčík was reassigned to add depth to American Hockey League affiliate, the Laval Rocket for the 2018–19 season. Defenceman (ice Hockey)
Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from Goal (ice hockey), scoring. Brampton Beast
The Brampton Beast were a professional ice hockey team based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The team originally played in the Central Hockey League for one year during the 2013–14 season prior to the league's folding before joining the ECHL from 2014 to 2020. The Beast played their home games at the CAA Centre. The team was one of only two ECHL members located in Canada, along with the Newfoundland Growlers, from 2018 to 2020. 2nd Czech Republic Hockey League
The 2nd Czech Republic Hockey League (or Czech 2.liga) is the third-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic under the 1st Czech Republic Hockey League. It began in 1993. Penalty (ice Hockey)
A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play. In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar.
