Michael Venus (tennis)
Michael Venus (born 16 October 1987) is a New Zealand professional tennis player. He has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 6, achieved on 29 August 2022. Venus won the 2017 French Open men's doubles partnering Ryan Harrison, and followed with a runner-up finish in the 2017 US Open mixed doubles partnering Chan Hao-ching. Venus and Harrison qualified for the year-end championships ATP Finals, where they reached the semifinals. In 2018 Venus made the men's doubles final at Wimbledon with Raven Klaasen, losing to Mike Bryan and Jack Sock, and was a semifinalist in the mixed doubles there as well with Katarina Srebotnik. He and Klaasen qualified for the ATP Finals, but won only one round-robin match. They also qualified in 2019, finishing runners-up. The 2022 Monte-Carlo Masters (also known as the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters for sponsorship reasons) was a tennis tournament for male professionals, played on Clay court, outdoor clay courts. It was the 115th edition of the annual Monte Carlo Masters tournament, sponsored by Rolex for the 13th time. Croatia's Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić defeated compatriots Marin Čilić and Ivan Dodig in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 0–6to win the gold medal in Men's Doubles tennis at the 2020 Summer Olympics. This was Croatia's first Olympic tennis gold and silver medals. For the first time since 1908, the gold medal match was contested by pairs representing the same country. Chan Hao-ching
Chan Hao-ching (; ; born September 19, 1993), also known as Angel Chan, is a Taiwanese professional tennis player. She is primarily a doubles specialist, having won twenty-one WTA Tour, two WTA Challenger and six ITF titles in that discipline. Chan reached the final of the mixed-doubles competition at Wimbledon with Max Mirnyi in 2014, her first major final. She reached two more finals in 2017, the Wimbledon women's doubles with Monica Niculescu, and the US Open mixed doubles with Michael Venus. Ryan Harrison
Ryan Harrison (born May 7, 1992) is an American former professional tennis player. Harrison won one career Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP title in singles at the 2017 Memphis Open to go along with four in doubles, including the 2017 French Open. Before turning 16, Harrison was regarded as a prodigy after cracking the top 10 in the junior rankings and becoming one of the youngest players ever to win an ATP match. Although he broke through onto the ATP level by the age of 20, Harrison then fell out of the top 100 for several years. He would return to the top 100 in 2016 after a strong second half of the season that included multiple wins over opponents ranked in the top 20 and his first career appearance in the round of 32 at a Grand Slam. The PIF ATP Rankings (previously known as the Pepperstone ATP Rankings) are the merit-based method used by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for determining the qualification for entry as well as the seeding of players in all singles and doubles tournaments. The first rankings for singles were published on 23 August 1973 while the doubles players were ranked for the first time on 1 March 1976. Ranking points are awarded according to the stage of tournament reached, and the prestige of the tournament, with the four Grand Slam tournaments awarding the most points.
