The second incarnation of CBS Corporation (the first being a short-lived rename of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation) was an American multinational media conglomerate with interests primarily in commercial broadcasting, publishing, and television production. Latin Quarter (also known as The LQ) was a nightclub in New York City. The club originally opened in 1942 and featured big-name acts. In recent years, it has been a focus of hip hop, reggaeton and salsa music. Its history is similar to that of its competitor, the Copacabana.
