Michael Lang (footballer, Born 1991)
Michael Rico Lang (born 8 February 1991) is a Swiss former professional footballer, best known for his time as defender of Swiss Super League club FC Basel, for whom he's played 263 games. He also played for FC St. Gallen and Grasshopper Club Zürich in Switzerland, as well as Borussia Mönchengladbach and Werder Bremen in Germany. Internationally, Lang played for Switzerland at every youth level between under-16 and under-20. He represented his country's senior side between 2013 and 2019, achieving 31 caps for his country. He is currently the sporting director of Swiss Challenge League side FC Wil. Markus Steinhöfer (born 7 March 1986) is a German former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Club career Youth football Steinhöfer began his early football with local amateur club DSC Weißenburg. Via TSV Roth he then joined the youth division of 1. FC Nürnberg. In 2002 he joined the B-Juniors (later U-17) in the youth department of Bayern Munich. Wankdorf Stadium () is a football stadium in Bern, Switzerland. The second largest all-seater football stadium in Switzerland, it is the home ground of BSC Young Boys. It was also one of the venues for UEFA Euro 2008. History The present-day Stadion Wankdorf was built on the grounds of the former Wankdorf Stadium, which hosted the 1954 FIFA World Cup final (''The Miracle of Bern''), and was then demolished in 2001. Izet Hajrović (; born 4 August 1991) is a former professional footballer who played as a winger. Born in Switzerland, he played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Hajrović started his professional career at Grasshoppers, before joining Galatasaray in 2014. Later that year, he moved to Werder Bremen, who loaned him to Eibar in 2015. Three years later, he signed with Dinamo Zagreb. He joined Aris in 2021. FC Aarau
FC Aarau is a Swiss professional football club based in Aarau. Founded in 1902, the club competes in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of Swiss football after being relegated from the Swiss Super League. History FC Aarau was formed on 26 May 1902 by workers from a local brewery. The early days of the club were a success and they won the Swiss championship in 1911–12 and then again in 1913–14. The club spent 25 years, from 1907 to 1933, in the top league but were relegated to the lower league and were unable to return to the top flight for a number of decades.
