Michael Begley is a British television and theatre actor and writer. Begley has written two stage plays: ''Martha Loves Michael'', which was co-written with Sally Abbott, and ''The Guys''. He wrote the television series ''Cowboys and Indians'' with Abbott and Jon Sen, and has written several episodes of ''EastEnders''. He won Best Newcomer at the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards in 1996 for his roles in ''The Tempest'', ''Wildest Dreams'' and ''Life of Galileo'', and was nominated in the TMA Awards for Best Supporting Actor in 2002. This Life (1996 TV Series)
''This Life'' is a BBC television drama that was produced by World Productions and screened on BBC Two. Two series were broadcast from 18 March 1996 to 7 August 1997, with a later reunion special on 2 January 2007. It centres on a group of law graduates in their twenties, embarking upon their careers while sharing a house in south London. There are no courtroom scenes in either the first or second series, and only one brief scene in the TV sequel. The show became a popular word-of-mouth hit and was included on BFI's list of the 100 greatest British television programmes. ''Silent Witness'' is a British crime drama television series produced by the BBC that focuses on a team of forensic pathology experts and their investigations into various crimes. The slater's hammer is forged in one single piece, from crucible-cast steel, and has a leather handle. It consists of a claw for drawing nails, a sheer edge for cutting slate, and a head with a sharp point at one end for punching holes in slate and with a hammer head at the other.
