Mi Macro Periférico
Mi Macro Periférico is the second BRT line in the Guadalajara metropolitan area. It runs on along the Anillo Periférico Manuel Gómez Morin from its crossing with the Artesanos Avenue until the Solidaridad Iberoamericana Avenue, commonly known as Carretera a Chapala (Road to Chapala). It has a total of 42 stations between Carretera a Chapala and Barranca de Huentitán. The line has connections with line 1 and line 3 of the Guadalajara light rail system, lines 1 and 4 of SITREN and Mi Macro Calzada. Mi Macro Calzada
Mi Macro Calzada is the first line of the Guadalajara Macrobús. It runs along on the Independencia roadway and the Gobernador Curiel Avenue from the southern terminus, Fray Angélico, north to Mirador, with a total of 27 stations. The line has connections with Line 2 of the Guadalajara light rail system, line 2 and Line 3 of the Guadalajara light rail system, line 3 of the Guadalajara light rail system, light rail at the San Juan de Dios and Bicentenario stations, respectively, and with the second BRT line, Mi Macro Periférico, at the Independencia Norte station. In the near future, it will also have a connection with Line 4 of the Guadalajara light rail system, line 4 at the Fray Angélico station. Aristóteles Sandoval
Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval Díaz (22 January 1974 – 18 December 2020) was a Mexican politician belonging to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as Governor of Jalisco from 2013 to 2018. On 18 December 2020 he was assassinated in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Education and personal life Aristóteles Sandoval was the son of Leonel Sandoval and Sagrario Díaz. His father was a magistrate for the Supreme Court of Justice of the State of Jalisco. He completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Guadalajara. He also has a degree in law from the University of Guadalajara and a master's degree in politics and public development from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Guadalajara Macrobús
The Guadalajara Mi Macro (formerly Macrobús) is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The initiation of work on the system was announced by Jalisco Governor Emilio González Márquez on February 29, 2008. The system was launched on March 10, 2009 by him and Mexican President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa. Lines The first line runs along Calzada Independencia and Gobernador Curiel avenues with a total of 27 stations, including two terminals: Mirador (northern terminus, in Guadalajara) and Fray Angélico (southern terminus, in Tlaquepaque). The line intersects the LRT's Line 2 at San Juan de Dios station. After the LRT Line 3 was completed in 2016, a second transfer point was created at the station immediately south, Bicentenario (BRT) / Independencia (LRT-3).
