MiSaMo
MiSaMo (; stylized in all caps) is the first sub-unit of the South Korean girl group Twice formed by JYP Entertainment. The group consists of Twice's Japanese members, Momo, Sana, and Mina. They debuted in 2023 with the extended play ''Masterpiece''. Name The subunit's name, MiSaMo, is a portmanteau of the names of members Mina, Sana, and Momo. Prior to the subunit's formation, the members often used the term "MiSaMo" to refer to themselves. History In 2012, Sana and Momo were originally planned to debut in a four-member girl group in Japan; however, JYP suspended the plan due to the deterioration of the Korean-Japanese relationship following the Liancourt Rocks dispute. In 2015, the members participated in Mnet's '' Sixteen'', a competition survival show to decide Twice's lineup. Haute Couture (EP)
''Haute Couture'' is the second extended play by MiSaMo, a sub-unit of girl group Twice. It was released by Warner Music Japan on November 6, 2024. The EP contains seven tracks, including the lead single, "Identity", and "New Look", a cover of Namie Amuro's song of the same name. Each member of MiSaMo also has a solo song, available as bonus tracks on some editions of the EP. Background and release On July 30, 2024, JYP Entertainment announced that MiSaMo would release their second EP on October 30. On September 12, the release date was changed to November 6 due to production issues. They also announced a Japanese dome tour in support of the EP. ''Masterpiece'' is the debut extended play by MiSaMo, a sub unit of girl group Twice. It was released by Warner Music Japan on July 26, 2023. The EP contains seven tracks, including the lead single " Do Not Touch" and pre-released single "Marshmallow". Background Momo, Sana, and Mina released the song "Bouquet" for TV Asahi's television series '' Liaison: Kodomo no Kokoro Shinryōjo'' on January 25, 2023. "Do Not Touch" is a song recorded by MiSaMo. It was released as the lead single of their debut extended play ''Masterpiece''. The song was pre-released for streaming and digital download on July 14, 2023. Momo Hirai
known mononymously as Momo (; ), is a Japanese singer, dancer, and rapper based in South Korea. She is a member of South Korean girl group Twice under JYP Entertainment and its subunit MiSaMo. Life and career Early life and pre-debut activities Momo Hirai was born in Kyōtanabe, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. She began dancing at the age of three, together with her elder sister, Hana. Momo gained exposure to the South Korean music industry early, appearing in a music video for Lexy in 2008 and on the talent show '' Superstar K'' in 2011. Sana Minatozaki (; born December 29, 1996), known mononymously as Sana (; ), is a Japanese singer based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed in 2015 by JYP Entertainment, and its subunit MiSaMo, formed in 2023. Mina Myoi (; born Mina Sharon Myoi, March 24, 1997), known mononymously as Mina (; ), is a Japanese singer and dancer based in South Korea. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, which debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2015, and its subgroup MiSaMo, which debuted in 2023. "60s 70s 80s" is a triple A-side single by Japanese singer Namie Amuro from her third greatest hits album, ''Best Fiction'' (2008). It was released on March 12, 2008, through Avex Trax and consists of the songs "New Look," "Rock Steady" and "What a Feeling," each sampling from a specific decade in music, hence the title.
