Meryem Boz Çalık
Meryem Boz (born 3 February 1988) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is and plays as an opposite for Sarıyer Belediyesi. She was chosen MVP of the CEV Tokyo Volleyball European Qualification 2020. Career Boz played for Fenerbahçe in the 2012 FIVB Club World Championship held in Doha, Qatar and helped her team win the bronze medal after defeating Puerto Rico's Lancheras de Cataño 3–0. She also won Challenge Cup with Bursa BBSK in 2015. For the 2016/17 season, she played for the Turkish club Seramiksan. She will be playing as opposite spiker for Fenerbahçe in the 2022/23 season. 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 31st edition of the Women's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball, CEV from 23 August to 8 September 2019. For the first time the Women's EuroVolley was held in four countries: Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Turkey. The number of national teams participating in the event was also expanded from 16 to 24. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. The 2021 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League was the third edition of the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The 2021 version of VNL was scheduled to start earlier than the previous edition due to the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. The competition was held in between May and June 2021, and the final round took place in Rimini Fiera, Rimini, Italy. United States won their third title in the competition, outlasting Brazil in thrilling four sets on the final. Turkey grabbed the bronze medal after sweeping Japan in three sets.
