Menderes is a district of İzmir Province in Turkey. Overview Menderes district, which is notable for its satsumas, beautiful bays and historical riches, is from İzmir. Aegean Sea
The Aegean Sea ; tr, Ege Denizi (Greek: Αιγαίο Πέλαγος: "Egéo Pélagos", Turkish: "Ege Denizi" or "Adalar Denizi") is an elongated embayment of the Mediterranean Sea between Europe and Asia. The September 2012 Baradan Bay, Turkey migrant boat disaster occurred in the early hours of September 6, 2012, in Baradan Bay, İzmir Province, western Turkey. A fishing boat carrying illegal migrants hit rocks and sank. 61 people died, 48 survived the incident. The long fishing boat left the village of Ahmetbeyli in the Menderes district of İzmir Province at 5:30 AM heading for the island of Samos to enter Greece illegally. About off the coast, she hit rocks and sank in deep water. Media reports stated that some people were locked in the hold. Görece is a village in the Menderes district of Izmir Province, Turkey. It is known for its production of eye bead A nazar (from Arabic , word deriving from Arabic, meaning ''sight'', ''surveillance'', ''attention'', and other related concepts) is an eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye. Özdere
Özdere (, ) is a small Turkish coastal settlement and resort town in the Menderes district of İzmir Province, along the Aegean Sea coast. It has a permanent population of around 15,000 people, which can rise to nearly 100,000 during the summer as a result of its popularity amongst tourists. It is located approximately northwest of the nearby resort town of Kuşadası, south of Menderes, the district seat, and to the south of İzmir, the provincial seat. The town is situated in close proximity to numerous historical sites and is accessible via the Kuşadası-Selçuk-Seferihisar- Urla provincial road. Tangerine
The tangerine is a type of citrus fruit that is orange in color. Its scientific name varies. Selçuk
Selçuk is a town in İzmir Province in the Aegean Region of Turkey. It is located northeast of the ancient city of Ephesus, that was once home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Notion (ancient City)
Notion or Notium (Ancient Greek , 'southern') was a Greek city-state on the west coast of Anatolia; it is about south of Izmir in modern Turkey, on the Gulf of Kuşadası. Notion was located on a hill from which the sea was visible; it served as a port for nearby Colophon and Claros, and pilgrims frequently passed through on their way to the oracle of Apollo at Claros. There are still remains of the defense walls, necropolis, temple, agora, and theater. The ruins of the city are now found east of the modern town Ahmetbeyli in the Menderes district of Izmir Province, Turkey.
