Melvin Pierre Ajinça (born 26 June 2004) is a French professional basketball player for LDLC ASVEL of the LNB Élite and the EuroLeague. Professional career Centre Fédéral de Basket-ball (2019–2022) Born in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, Ajinça started his playing career with Centre Fédéral de Basket-ball of the Nationale Masculine 1 in 2019. Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (2022–2024) Ajinça signed with Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball of the LNB Pro B on 30 June 2022. ASVEL Basket, currently known as LDLC ASVEL for sponsorship reasons, is a French professional basketball team located in the commune of Villeurbanne, a suburb of Lyon, France. The club, which is the basketball section of the ASVEL multi-sports club, competes at the highest level of French basketball, the LNB Élite. The 2023–24 LNB Élite season, known as Betclic Élite due to sponsorship from online gambling company Betclic, is the 102nd season of the LNB Élite, the top basketball league in France organised by the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB). The regular season began on 16 September 2023 and ended on 11 May 2024. Via promotion and relegation with LNB Pro B, Saint-Quentin BB and Élan Chalon joined the league, replacing Élan Béarnais and Fos Provence Basket.
