Meja Örtengren
Meja Örtengren (born 3 January 2005) is a Swedish amateur golfer and Stanford Cardinal women's golf team player. In 2022, 17 years old, she was part of the Swedish team that won the Espirito Santo Trophy and was individual co-medalist. During 2022, she also captured her first win in a professional tournament, the PGA Championship Trelleborg, Swedish PGA Championship. She won the Rolex Tournament of Champions back-to-back in 2021 and 2022. Amateur career Örtengren started playing golf at age 4 and was a licensed player by 7, and would go on to enjoy a very decorated amateur career. She started competing at age 10 and played in her first Swedish Golf Tour (women), Swedish Golf Tour event at 14, the Hoya Ladies Open at Flommen Golf Club, where she held the lead after round one. Louise Rydqvist
Louise Rydqvist (born 18 July 2001) is a Swedish amateur golfer. In 2022, she was runner-up at The Womens Amateur Championship and won the Espirito Santo Trophy. In 2024, she won the European Ladies Amateur and made the cut at the Women's British Open. Amateur career Rydqvist joined the national team in 2017 and competed at the European Girls' Team Championship twice, winning the bronze on home soil in 2018. In 2019, she played in the Junior Golf World Cup in Japan and the World Junior Girls Championship in Canada. Golf de Saint-Cloud is a 36-hole golf complex located in the parishes of Garches, Rueil-Malmaison and Vaucresson, 12 km west of central Paris, France. Junior Solheim Cup
The Junior Solheim Cup is a version of the Solheim Cup for girls aged 12 to 18. It was inaugurated in 2002. It is currently officially called the Ping (golf), PING Junior Solheim Cup. The Junior Solheim Cup follows a similar format to The Solheim Cup and features the top 12 U.S. amateur girls—defined as girls participating in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events—versus their European counterparts. College/university golfers are ineligible to participate in the event, even if they meet the age cutoff. The event is held over two days, with six fourball and six foursomes matches on the first day, and twelve singles matches on the second day. Annika Charlotta Sörenstam (; born 9 October 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer regarded as one of the best female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 96 international professional tournaments, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name. Elin Pudas Remler (born 11 August 2004) is a Swedish amateur golfer. She won the 2024 European Nations Cup – Copa Sotogrande and reached the semi-finals of The Women's Amateur Championship in 2023. Early life and amateur career Remler was born in 2004 and grew up in the Gothenburg suburb of Lerum.
