Meeboldia
''Meeboldia'' is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae. Its native range is Nepal, East Himalaya, West Himalaya, Tibet, to south-central China. The genus name of ''Meeboldia'' is in honour of Alfred Meebold (1863–1952), a German botanist, writer, and anthroposophist. It was first described and published in Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. The Flora of Nepal is one of the richest in the world due to the diverse climate, topology and geography of the country. Research undertaken in the late 1970s and early 1980s documented 5067 species of which 5041 were angiosperms and the remaining 26 species were gymnosperms.
