Medelpads Fotbollförbund
The Medelpads Fotbollförbund ''(Medelpad Football Association)'' is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football (soccer), football in the historical province of Medelpad in Norrland. It was established on 1 July 1933, when Västernorrland County Football Association was disbanded, and split into the Medelpad Football Association and the Ångermanlands Fotbollförbund, Ångermanland Football Association. Background Medelpads Fotbollförbund, commonly referred to as Medelpads FF, is the governing body for football historical province of Medelpad, now within Västernorrland County. The Association currently has 46 member clubs. Based in Sundsvall, the Association's Chairman is Magdalena Wallgren. Lucksta IF
Lucksta IF is a Swedish football club located in Lucksta in Sundsvall Municipality, Västernorrland County. Background Lucksta Idrottsförening were founded in 1920 and their first match was played on 26 September 1920 against Matfors IF's B-team. The youth football section was first developed in the 1970s and the club currently serves over 150 young people. Since their foundation Lucksta IF has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. In 2001 they were promoted to Division 3 Mellersta Norrland which was then the fourth tier of Swedish football. However their stay at this level lasted only two seasons before they were relegated back to Division 4 Medelpad. The club in 2010 played in Division 3 Mellersta Norrland which is now the fifth tier of Swedish football. Swedish Football District Associations
The Swedish football district associations are the local governing bodies of association football in Sweden. District FAs exist to govern all aspects of local football in their defined areas, providing grassroots support to the Swedish Football Association by promoting and administering football, futsal and beach soccer in their respective districts. Most of the 24 District FAs align roughly with the boundaries of the historic Provinces of Sweden, although Stockholm FA and Gothenburg FA cover the two major cities and their immediate conurbations. Division 6 (Amateur league) is the eighth (by sponsorship) level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 78 sections with 5 to 12 football teams in each. The competition There are 100 groups of 15 to 17 teams each representing a local geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 18 to 22 games depending on the number of teams. The top team in each Division 6 group is promoted to Division 5. The bottom two teams in each Division 6 group are normally relegated to Division 7. Sund IF
Sund IF is a Swedish Association football, football club located in Sundsbruk in Sundsvall Municipality, Västernorrland County. Background Sund Idrottsförening were formed on 9 September 1921. Eight years later Sund IF and Skönviks IF merged and took the "neutral" name Sköns IF.
