Middle East College (MEC) is a private college based in Muscat, Oman. It is one of the leading higher education institution in the Sultanate of Oman, with over 5,100 students. MEC is affiliated to Coventry University, UK. It is located in the Knowledge Oasis Muscat. Abu Abdallah Muhammad Ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi
Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi , or simply al-Khwarizmi, was a mathematician active during the Islamic Golden Age, who produced Arabic-language works in mathematics, astronomy, and geography. Around 820, he worked at the House of Wisdom in Baghdad, the contemporary capital city of the Abbasid Caliphate.
