A voivodeship ( ; ; plural: ) is the highest-level Administrative divisions of Poland, administrative division of Poland, corresponding to a province in many other countries. The term has been in use since the 14th century and is commonly translated into English as "province". It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Wąbrzeźno () is a town in northern Poland, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, about northeast of Toruń. It is the capital of the Wąbrzeźno County. The population is 13,877 inhabitants (2010).
