Mazhai
''Mazhai'' () is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by Rajkumar in his debut. It is a remake of the 2004 Telugu film '' Varsham'', and stars Ravi Mohan (credited as Jayam Ravi) and Shriya Saran, while Vadivelu, Kalabhavan Mani and Rahul Dev play supporting roles. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad with cinematography by Rajesh Yadav and editing by Anthony. The film was released on 30 September 2005. Plot Arjun (Ravi Mohan), an unemployed youngster and Deva (Rahul Dev), a powerful don, both fall in love with Sailaja (Shriya Saran), a middle-class beauty, at the same time on a rainy day at a railway station. Arjun keeps bumping into Sailaja coincidentally every time it rains. This makes them both feel that it is the rain that keeps bringing them together, and they start to fall in love. Rajesh Yadav is an Indian cinematographer who works in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi film industry. Career Rajesh initially wanted to join SSI at Guindy for photography but since he could not get admission there he instead joined acting course at Taramani institute in spite of joining acting course he went only at cinematography department. Rajesh (20 December 1949 – 29 May 2025) was an Indian actor who performed in predominately Tamil films and serials. He completed more than 50 years in films and appeared as lead roles and supporting roles in over 150 films. Biography Rajesh was born on 20 December 1949 to Williams Nattar and Lily Grace Mankondar at Mannargudi, Tiruvarur district, but his family hails from Anaikkadu, in Thanjavur district.
