Narayanganj City Corporation ( - in short: NCC), is a local government, local governing body that manages all civic services in the city of Narayanganj, Bangladesh. The NCC government is elected by popular vote every five years. It is headed by a mayor, who presides over 36 councillors. It follows The City Corporation act, 2009 and derives most of its powers from it. It was formed comprising Narayanganj Town, Siddhirganj Municipal area and Kadamrasul Municipality. About NCC is a formation under the local government administration of Bangladesh to regulate the city area of Narayanganj, which is under the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development (LGRD). Salina Hayat Ivy (born June 5) is a Bangladeshi politician, physician, and the first mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation. Narayanganj () is a city in central Bangladesh in the Greater Dhaka area. It is in the Narayanganj District, about southeast of the capital city of Dhaka.
