Matthew Miller (filmmaker)
Matthew Miller is a Canadian screenwriter and producer. He is also a contractual university lecturer. Miller's work has been featured at international film festivals and has garnered awards at Toronto International Film Festival, TIFF, Sundance Film Festival, Sundance, and Berlin International Film Festival. Chicago International Film Festival
The Chicago International Film Festival is an annual film festival held every fall. Founded in 1964 by Michael Kutza, it is the longest-running competitive film festival in North America. Its logo is a stark, black and white close up of the composite eyes of early film actresses Theda Bara, Pola Negri, and Mae Murray, set as repeated frames in a strip of film. In 2010, the 46th Chicago International Film Festival presented 150 films from more than 50 countries. James Laurence Balsillie (born February 3, 1961) is a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. He was the former chair and co-chief executive officer of the Canadian technology company Research In Motion (BlackBerry), which at its 2011 peak made billion (equivalent to $billion in ) in annual sales. The annual week-long festival is held in Los Angeles in late February and is the main event organized by the year-round Slamdance organization.
