Matt Allen
Matt Allen (born October 23, 1977) is an former American football punter in the National Football League. Allen played college football at Troy State and signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2002. He played for one season with Falcons and New York Giants. Early life Allen played football, basketball, and baseball for Calvary Christian Academy. College career Allen played for Troy State University. NFL career Before joining the Giants, Allen played for the Atlanta Falcons in the preseason. In his lone NFL season, Allen had 63 punts for 2,326 yards with 2,045 net yards and an average 36.9 yards per punt. He is infamously known for attempting a pass to Rich Seubert after a botched snap from Trey Junkin on a field goal attempt to win the game on the last play of the Giants- 49ers NFC Wildcard game on January 5, 2003. Rich Seubert
Richard Thomas Seubert (; born March 30, 1979) is a former American football guard who played his entire career with the New York Giants of the National Football League. High school career Born in Stratford, Wisconsin, Seubert attended Columbus Catholic High School in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and was a standout in football, basketball, and baseball. He helped lead his football and basketball teams to two state championships each. College career Seubert attended Western Illinois University and played tight end as a freshman. In his sophomore year he moved to tackle and was a first team All-Gateway honoree as a senior. Professional career Seubert joined the New York Giants as an undrafted Free Agent in 2001. Jeffrey Allan Feagles (born March 7, 1966) is a former American football punter who played in the National Football League (NFL) for twenty-two seasons. He played college football for the University of Miami. He was originally signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 1988, and most recently played for the New York Giants. Feagles is known for using the " coffin corner" punt. He earned Pro Bowl selections in 1995 and 2008 and won a Super Bowl ring with the Giants in Super Bowl XLII over the Patriots. Feagles, the most durable punter in NFL history, officially announced his retirement on April 30, 2010. Feagles attended Gerard High School in Phoenix, Arizona and was a letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. In his 22 season career, Feagles never missed a game, which is an unmatched record. Rodney Colin Williams (born April 25, 1977) is an American former gridiron football punter. College career Williams, who played from 1995 to 1998, left Georgia Tech as the school's career leader in punting average at 41.1 yards a kick. His single-season average of 45.64 yards per punt in 1997 set a school record that stood until Pressley Harvin III broke it in 2020 with an average of 48.0 yards per punt. That same season, he had a school record 553 punting yards against Florida State. In November 2011, Williams was inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame. Abner Kirk "Trey" Junkin III (born January 23, 1961) is a former American football long snapper in the National Football League. Junkin played college football at Louisiana Tech University. Although considered one of the forefathers of the modern long snappers, Junkin also played at the tight end and linebacker positions. Early years Junkin attended Northeast High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and was a football star. A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage.
