Matija Pintarič
Matija Pintarič (born 11 August 1989) is a Slovenian ice hockey goaltender playing for Brûleurs de Loups of the Ligue Magnus. He participated at the 2011 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Slovenia men's national ice hockey team. Pintaric is a three-time winner (2017, 2019, 2020) of the Jean Ferrand Trophy awarded to the best goaltender in the French Ligue Magnus. Brûleurs De Loups
The Brûleurs de Loups (French for ''Wolf Burners'') are a professional ice hockey team that play in Grenoble, France. History The club was founded in 1963 under the name Grenoble Hockey Club. Since 1992, the club has been known as the Brûleurs de Loups. The Brûleurs de Loups hockey team plays in the Ligue Magnus, the highest level in France. They have won the championship nine times (1981, 1982, 1991, 1998, 2007, 2009, 2019, 2022, 2025), the French Cup six times (1994, 2008, 2009, 2017, 2023, 2024) and the League Cup four times (2007, 2009, 2011, 2015). Former Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Cristobal Huet played for Grenoble from the beginning of his career until 1998. The Champions Hockey League is a European first-level ice hockey tournament. Launched in the 2014–15 season by 26 clubs, 6 leagues and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the tournament features top teams across Europe. Background The IIHF launched a tournament with the same name in 2008 to coincide with the IIHF's 100th anniversary. The tournament's only season was played between 8 October 2008 and 28 January 2009, and was won by the ZSC Lions who got to play in the 2009 Victoria Cup game as a result. The IIHF planned to launch another season but was ultimately forced to cancel the tournament due to problems finding sponsors during the concurrent global economic crisis and failure to agree on a tournament format. On 9 December 2013, a new tournament with the same name was launched by the IIHF and a group of 26 clubs from six countries, born out of the European Trophy, starting in the 2014–15 season.
