Matej Mohorič (born 19 October 1994) is a Slovenian professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Mohorič turned professional in 2014. He won the Slovenian National Road Race Championships in 2018 and 2021, and the UCI Gravel World Championships in 2023. Early and personal life Born on 19 October 1994, in Kranj, Slovenia, Mohorič currently resides in Šenčur, Slovenia. Career Mohorič won the 2012 UCI World Junior Road Race Championships and the 2013 UCI World Under-23 Road Race Championships, becoming the first rider to win world junior and under-23 titles in consecutive years. The Deutschland Tour (English: ''Tour of Germany'' and sometimes ''Deutschland-Rundfahrt'' in German) is the most important Race stage, multi-stage road bicycle racing, road bicycle race in Germany. The 2022 Milan–San Remo was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 19 March 2022 in northwestern Italy. It was the 113th edition of the Milan–San Remo cycling classic. Classic Cycle Races
The classic cycle races are the most prestigious one-day professional road cycling races in the international calendar. Some of these events date back to the 19th century. They are normally held at roughly the same time each year. The five most revered races are often described as the cycling monuments. For the 2005 to 2007 seasons, some classics formed part of the UCI ProTour run by the Union Cycliste Internationale. This event series also included various stage races including the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, Paris–Nice, and the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré.
