Hurungwe District
Karoi District is a district of Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe. The district is also known as Hurungwe District which extends to Zambian border. Zvimba District
Zvimba District is a district of Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe. Location The district is located in Mashonaland West Province, in central northern Zimbabwe. Zvimba District is bordered by Guruve District to the north, Mazowe District to the east, the city of Harare to the southeast, Chegutu District to the south, Kadoma District to the southwest and Makonde District to the west and northwest. Makonde District
Makonde District is a district in Zimbabwe. Location The district is located in Mashonaland West Province, in north central Zimbabwe. Its main town, Chinhoyi, with an estimated population of 61,739 people in 2004, is located about , by road, northwest of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe and the largest city in that country. Overview Makonde District is a farming district. Crops grown here include cotton, maize and tobacco. Cattle are also raised in the district for dairy products and beef on a commercial basis. The Human Development Index (HDI) is a statistical composite index of life expectancy, Education Index, education (mean years of schooling completed and expected years of schooling upon entering the education system), and per capita income indicators, which is used to rank countries into four tiers of Human development (humanity), human development. Kariba District
Kariba is a district and constituency on the shores of Lake Kariba in the Mashonaland West Province of northern Zimbabwe, along the border with Zambia. The constituency comprises 12 rural wards or municipalities in Kariba Rural, also known as Nyaminyami Rural District, and 9 urban wards in Kariba, Zimbabwe, Kariba Town, the district capital. The district's total population was just under 60,000 in 2011. Kariba town was built to house the workers who built Kariba Dam, which was completed in 1960 to supply Zimbabwe and Zambia with hydroelectric power, and which gave rise to one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.
