Marko Šelić (Serbian: Марко Шелић; born 22 January 1983), also known as Marčelo (Serbian: Марчело), is a Serbian rapper and singer known for his socially conscious lyrics and eclectic approach to musical arrangements through hip-hop music. A Paraćin native, he moved to Belgrade, where he has had great success over the years, and became one of the most prominent Serbian hip hop artists. He has won numerous awards, including two Serbian Oscars of Popularity, two Indexi Awards and an MTV Platinum Award. Career Rise Marčelo started making hip hop music in 1997, though his first significant contributions came out in 1999, with a demo band called Rhyme Animal. In order to pursue his solo career, Marčelo stepped out of Rhyme Animal in 2001, and started to work with Oneya, the founder of Bassivity Music and one of the leading producers on the Serbian hip hop scene. Paraćin
Paraćin ( sr-Cyrl, Параћин, ) is a town and municipality located in the Pomoravlje District of central Serbia. Located in the Velika Morava river valley, north of Kruševac and southeast of Kragujevac, the town had a population of 22,349 in 2022. It also has a civilian airport. History There is a Neolithic archaeological site in the village of Drenovac. Basarabi pottery from the 8th Century BC depicting a domestic rooster was discovered near the town. The Roman fort at Momčilov Grad produced a great number of coins of Byzantine Emperor Justinian (525–565). The medieval town of Petrus was granted by Emperor Dušan to the local župan Vukoslav. Ništa Ali Logopedi ( sr-Cyrl, Ништа Али Логопеди; trans. ''Nothing But Logopedists'') is a Serbian alternative rock band from Šabac. History 1992–1998 The band was formed in late 1992, and the first lineup consisted of Miodrag Jovanović "Miško" (vocals), Aleksandar Cvejić "Cveja" (bass guitar), Aleksandar Stojanovic "Džoja" (drums), Igor Đorić "Đora" (guitar), Darko Veljić (accordion). and Dragoljub Marković (also known as "BlEQ" or "Dr Dra") ( keyboard). Boško Ćirković (Serbian Cyrillic:Бошко Ћирковић; born 4 December 1976) better known as Škabo (Serbian Cyrillic: Шкабо) is a rapper, beatmaker and producer from Belgrade, Serbia. He has released three albums as a member of Beogradski Sindikat, nine solo albums and one album together with his wife, under the name PKS.
