María Guðmundsdóttir (born 12 February 1942) is an Icelandic filmmaker, photographer and model. She is a former supermodel and Miss Iceland in 1961. Djúpavík () is a small village in the North-West of Iceland. It is located at the head of Reykjarfjörður on the Strandir coast in the Westfjords region (Vestfirðir), in the municipality of Árneshreppur.
