María Fernanda Aristizábal
María Fernanda Aristizábal Urrea (born 19 June 1997) is a Colombian beauty pageant titleholder who won Señorita Colombia 2019. Aristizábal is the first representative from Quindío to win Miss Colombia and Miss Universe Colombia. Aristizábal represented Colombia in Miss Universe 2022 and reached the top 16. Early life Aristizábal was born in Armenia, Quindío. Her father is Bernardo Alonso Aristizábal Franco and her mother is Bertha Lucía Urrea Posso. Aristizábal completed her elementary and high school education at the Colegio Franciscano San Luis Rey in Armenia. She later graduated with a degree in social communication from Luis Amigó Catholic University in Medellin in July 2021. Pageantry Señorita Colombia 2019-2020 Aristizábal began her pageantry career in 2019, after winning Miss Quindío 2019. Armenia, Colombia
Armenia () is the capital of Quindío Department in the South American country of Colombia. Armenia is a medium-sized city and part of the " coffee axis" along with Pereira and Manizales. It is one of the main centers of the national economy and of the Colombian coffee growing axis. As a result, the historic center of Armenia was named as part of the "Coffee Cultural Landscape" of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011. History The city was founded on October 14, 1889, by Jesús María Ocampo, also known as "Tigrero" (translates to "tiger killer") due to his love of hunting jaguars, known locally as tigers. Ocampo came from Anaime, Tolima, looking for shelter in the mountains of Quindío.
