María Cristina Uribe
María Cristina Uribe is a Colombian journalist and news presenter born in Medellín. Between 2002 and 2011 she presented ''Noticias Uno''. Uribe majored in Social Communication and Journalism at the Pontifical Bolivarian University in 1991. Her television debut was on a programme on the regional channel Teleantioquia, where she would later present a newscast. Later, Uribe would appear on national newscasts such as ''QAP Noticias'' and '' Noticiero de las Siete'' on Canal A and '' CM&'' on Canal Uno. In 1998 she would move to '' Caracol Noticias'' until 2002, where she joined ''Noticias Uno''. Daniel Alfonso Coronell Castañeda (Bogotá, October 25, 1964) is a Colombian journalist and Businessperson shareholder of the media :es:Plural Comunicaciones, Plural Comunicaciones. Caracol Noticias
''Noticias Caracol'' (until 9 October 2007 ''Caracol Noticias'') is the name for all the national newscast from the news division of Caracol Televisión which carries the same name. It is broadcast four times on weekdays and twice on weekends. In January 2015 the new director is Juan Roberto Vargas and the second director is Alberto Medina Lopez. Before becoming a network, Caracol Televisión produced the morning newscast ''7:30 Caracol'' in the mid-1990s. Several well-known Colombian journalists, such as Claudia Palacios, Érika Fontalvo, and María Cristina Uribe were also news presenters of ''Caracol Noticias''. Canal A (previously known as ''Cadena Dos'') was a Colombian open television network launched on January 16, 1971, under the name ''Tele9 Corazón'' (pronounced "telenueve corazón"). History TV9 Telebogotá (Teletigre), the first private television station in Colombia, began broadcasting on January 14, 1966. It was founded by Consuelo Salgar de Montejo, a journalist, politician, and businesswoman. It broadcast on channel 9 of the VHF band in Bogotá and could also be tuned in to the rest of Cundinamarca, Tolima and part of Huila. Due to its strong opposition to the corruption of the National Front, a coalition between the Conservative and Liberal parties that alternated power, the television channel was expropriated on January 2, 1971, and became administered by the State.
