Baruch Marzel
Baruch Meir Marzel (; born 23 April 1959) is an Israeli politician and activist. He is an Orthodox Jew originally from Boston who now lives in the Jewish community of Hebron in Tel Rumeida with his wife and nine children. He was the leader of the far-right-oriented Jewish National Front party. He is now a member of Otzma Yehudit. He was the "right-hand man" of assassinated Rabbi Meir Kahane, acting as spokesman for the American-born rabbi's Kach organization for ten years. The mainstream Israeli press has described him as an "extreme right-wing activist". Itamar Marzel (; born May 16, 1949) is an Israeli former basketball player. He played the point guard position. He played in the Israeli Premier Basketball League, and for the Israel national basketball team. Biography Marzel was born in Israel, and grew up on Kibbutz Yagur. He is 1.85 m tall. He played 13 seasons in the Israeli Premier Basketball League, for Hapoel Gilboa/Afula, Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Gvat, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Hapoel Yagur. Ron Marzel is a Canadian lawyer from Toronto. His specialty is opposing Canada's cannabis laws. He also represents landlords. In 2008, he represented Dispensing With Care, a coalition that was opposing restrictions on the Ontario Drug Benefits Plan. Alan Young, another Toronto-based lawyer, advised Marzel in this case. In 2010, he was the defence lawyer for Neev Tapiero, a member of Cannabis As Living Medicine (CALM). The case had been initiated by a police raid on CALM's headquarters, which Marzel called "a totally inappropriate response to an organization that is seeking legitimization to help sick people."
