Maryvonne Blondin (born 20 January 1947) is a member of the Senate of France, representing the Finistère department. She is a member of the Socialist Party. Blondin became Deputy mayor of Ergué-Gabéric in 1989. In 2001, she was elected General councillor of Finistère (Brittany) and will become as a consequence one of the vice-presidents of the Counsel General. She was elected Senator on 22 September 2008. Maryvonne Kendergi or Kendergian, (15 August 1915 – 27 September 2011) was a Canadian-Armenian writer, professor, musicologist, pianist, and French-speaking Quebecer, Québécois commentator. Life Kendergi was born 15 August 1915 in Gaziantep, Aintab to an Armenian family. Due to the Armenian genocide she fled to Syria, where she grew up, then moved to France. At the University of Paris, Sorbonne, she studied and gained an advanced degree in 1942. She moved to Canada in 1952, and became a Canadian citizen in 1960. For ten years she hosted radio programs on contemporary music on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio-Canada and also appeared regularly on television. She taught at the Université de Montréal.
